Our client is seeking a driven Technical Advisor (Dairy) to accelerate our animal feed sales and deliver expert nutritional support to our growing regional client base. In this role, you will partner closely with local farmers and prospects to improve herd productivity, directly impacting farm profitability. Your core focus will be driving regional sales volumes, maximizing profit margins, and hitting annual business objectives by becoming a trusted advisor in the field..
📢 ESSENTIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS
• Matric /Grade 12
• B Agric / B.Sc. Agric / Animal Sci.
• 3 yr. Agricultural diploma
• Can obtain SACNASP registration a Professional Natural Scientist
• Valid Code 08/EB driver’s license
• Experience in external sales & marketing essential
• 3+ Years’ experience as Technical Advisor or similar
• Feed milling background experience
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word
Key Duties include:
- Selling – product feed range, achieving monthly targets, establishing client relationships
- Technical – principals of animal nutrition, writing quarterly articles, active role in trade shows and study groups
- Monitor the performance of company products, to gather production figures from species specific feedlots & supplemented farms on a monthly basis
- Administration: Sales reporting, record keeping, relevant customer related admin.
