Our client, an established Accounting Firm are seeking an Audit Supervisor to assist the Audit Manager with the audit department. Must have full experience in drafting Annual Financial Statements in Draftworx or another preparation software. If you are very comfortable dealing with staff queries and training; are open, friendly, able to deal with conflict resolution and wanting to join a dynamic team – Then this position is for you!
📢 ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
• B Com Degree with Completed Articles with Audit as part of Articles
• Candidates without completed articles or degree must have worked in a senior role at a registered Audit firm for at least 5 years
• Valid SA driver’s license
• Fully perficient in English in writing and communication
• Experience in training junior staff
• Pastel, Sage One and Draftworx experience is essential. Must have full experience in drafting Annual Financial Statements in Draftworx or another preparation software
• Can fully understand the audit process from planning of an audit and performing audit procedures
• Able to prepare audit files and working paper files without supervision
• Can do balance sheet and income statement reconciliations without supervision
