New Code of Good Practice in the Workplace

If you are an employer in #SouthAfrica and you are not yet aware of the new Code of Good Practice about Workplace Harassment, you need to do so as a matter of urgency.

There are legal obligations placed on employers in terms of this Code, which can have serious consequences if not observed. The Code is very clear about the need to have, at a minimum, a #Harassment policy that contains the prescribed content as set out in the Code. The employer must conduct an internal #risk assessment that further informs this policy, and staff education and awareness are also crucial.
