RETAIL OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT MANAGER
Operations management within the retail sector is required. Engage stakeholders & manage adherence to SLAs. Manage shrinkage & implement in-store processes, equipment & end-to-end stock movement. Driving and managing the Integrated Performance Management processes and developing and coaching the team
ESSENTIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Grade11 / Matric (Grade 12 Certificate)
- Retail and or Business Management Diploma highly preferred
- 3 years relevant role experience in Retail Operations department management
- Retail industry experience is essential for the role
- Team, leadership and Management / Supervisory experience within retail
- Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements
JOB DESCRIPTION INCLUDES:
Formulate and execute Safety Policies while consistently engaging stakeholders. Oversee compliance with SLAs and regulations by tracking adherence to OSHA and NEBOSH standards. Collaborate with Centre Management and maintenance contractors to address issues. Oversee shrinkage and implement essential in-store procedures. Assist the store manager in organizing and leading shrinkage committee meetings. Ensure effective shop-keeping and housekeeping practices. Handle customer interactions, complaints, and requests efficiently. Promote and uphold legal compliance. Supervise equipment and manage the complete stock movement processes within the store. Guarantee stock integrity by following proper stock management protocols. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including management, staff, and regulatory bodies. Support commercial and operational tasks while training employees and contractors on store operational policies.
