INTERIOR DESIGN SALES EXECUTIVE

DURBAN, KZN

Promotes and sells textiles and merchandise related to interior design, including sample books and partnership programs, to clients within the designated area while also cultivating new business opportunities to achieve sales objectives. Provide guidance to clients regarding a variety of textile products to improve their residential and office environments. Previous experience in interior design and external sales is necessary. The position requires travel. Must be available to work every other Saturday.

PLEASE READ THE ESSENTIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 / Matric

Certificate or Diploma in sales and marketing is an advantage

Driver’s License Code B and own vehicle

Languages; Fluent in English and one other SA language

2 years sales experience – retail or wholesale environment preferred

Exposure to an interior design environment is an advantage

Skills required: External Sales, Product Knowledge, Negotiation, Presentation Skills, Database Management, Market Research, Campaign Implementation, Branding, Public Relations & Publicity, Report Writing, MS Office
