FOODS DEPARTMENT MANAGER – RETAIL INDUSTRY

Proven prior experience as a Foods Department Manager in Retail required. Work shifts. Contribute to risk minimization & the enhancement of profitability within your store. Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients. Recruit, select, oversee, and nurture personnel to fulfil competency needs. Engage in team efforts to guarantee the accomplishment of departmental and store objectives, while managing the execution and incorporation of new initiatives to reach project targets. Contribute to general store operations while supervising and mentoring staff. Attract and expand the customer base through a customer-facing or supportive position. Enhance market share, revenue, and profitability. Contribute to reducing risk and boosting the profitability of your store.

ESSENTIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Grade11 / Matric (Grade 12 Certificate)
• Retail and or Business Management Diploma
• 3 years relevant experience as a Foods Department Manager in Retail
• Retail industry experience is essential to the position
• Team, Leadership & Management experience
• Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements
• Working knowledge with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
