WEAVING MANAGER – Textile Industry

KWAZULU NATAL, CATO RIDGE

Reporting directly to COO – Oversee the Weaving and Weaving Preparation operations to guarantee that the necessary standards of Productivity, Quality, Service, and Safety consistently meet or surpass the specified KPIs. You will collaborate closely with PD & Design to ensure that technical factors are considered from the outset during the development phase before proposals are presented to the client.

ESSENTIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent recognized Diploma (Textile Technology / Engineering).
• Prior Learning may also be recognized regarding
• Post graduate certifications in Production management and SHEQ a distinct advantage.
• 5+ years of experience as a Weaving Manager in a textile manufacturing setting.
• A proven history of leadership and management within a manufacturing context, specifically in vertical textiles production.
• In-depth knowledge and comprehension of relevant industry laws and regulatory frameworks, plus practical experience in their implementation.
• Extensive experience in leading teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Decisiveness in execution of decisions and strategies
• Financial Acumen is essential
• Working knowledge of Management Systems (e.g. Lean Sigma, IMS – ISO 9001; 14001; 45001)
