TECHNICAL ADVISOR – ANIMAL FEED, HARRISMITH

We seek a go-getter who is target and customer driven. Your main function is to achieve monthly & yearly sales budget per customer and 5 level classification and building and maintaining of customer relationships. Maintain a regular visit schedule with customers and potential customers in order to keep current monthly sales and grow sales with prospects. Sound understanding of the principles of Animal nutrition. To understand the fundamentals of forage production which will include dryland and irrigated pastures as well as other forage crops, where applicable

ESSENTIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 / Matric
• B Agric / B.Sc. Agricultural degree / 3 yr. Agricultural diploma
• Valid SA Code 08/EB driver’s license
• Can obtain SACNASP registration a Professional Natural Scientist
• 2-5 years’ experience in external Sales and Marketing
• 3 Years’ experience in a role of sales within the agricultural industry
• Preferably have milling background experience Advantage
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word
• Can travel when required.
• Afrikaans language is a huge advantage
