MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE FITTER (TRADE TESTED)

1 X CAMPERDOWN, KWAZULU NATAL AND 1 X KLERKSDORP, NORTHERN CAPE

Great company out in Camperdown, KZN and one position in Klerksdorp, Northwest seeks your maintenance mechanical fitting expertise. Milling / Feed / Food manufacturing experience required. To carry out mechanical maintenance for the Branch. To install, service, and repair engineering machinery and equipment. You may work on mechanical or electronic systems. Serve as a supportive role to the Boiler Maker/Welder and the Plant Manager in fulfilling their responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

• Matric (Grade 12 Certificate)
• Trade test with 3 years post trade experience
• Possession of a valid Code 08/EB driver’s license

• 3 – 5 Years’ experience in a similar position within the milling / feed milling /food production industry environment
• Excellent understanding of Safety rules in the manufacturing environment
• Welding experience
• Experience on motors and gearboxes
• Experience with conveyor maintenance
• Experience with elevators
