JUNIOR BUYER – CATO RIDGE, KWAZULU NATAL

We are looking for an exceptional strong and dynamic individual to take up the post of Junior Buyer at our National Client based near Cato Ridge, KwaZulu Natal. (To note: client DOES NOT assist with relocation, so candidates currently residing in the area are preferred.

Your previous experience in: Administration of Supplier contracts, Raw material quality and administering raw material procurement, trade products, administration and maintenance of stock, whilst protecting margins and keeping price competitive in the marketplace is required for the position

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

• Matric (Grade 12 Certificate)
• BCom; BSc degree (Agri would be advantageous)
• Valid SA Code 08/EB driver’s license
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• 3 – 4 Years’ experience in a similar position
• Experience in a manufacturing, logistics and procurement environment.
• Min. 3 years’ experience dealing with raw materials as part of purchasing / buying functions
• MS office – Excel, Word essential
• ERP / SAP system experience
