MECHANICAL ENGINEERING EPC EXPERT

GAUTENG, NORTHERN SUBURBS

A prominent designer and contractor of water technology in Africa, based in Gauteng, seeks your expertise in technical leadership for EPC (Engineering Projects Construction) execution & the development of departmental procedures. Key functions include building and leading a high-performing mechanical engineering team, guidance & mentoring, and support across multiple disciplines to foster a collaborative working environment that includes MEICA disciplines, project managers, and internal and external clients. Additionally, you will collaborate with external structural engineers to ensure compliance with project contractual obligations, conduct risk assessments, maintain quality standards, and guarantee that engineering outputs are delivered punctually and within budget.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

– Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering / comparable qualification.

– Registered as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist with the Engineering Council of South Africa. (Pr. Eng.)

– 10+ Years of pertinent project experience, ideally within the Water and Wastewater Sector and/or the mining industry.

– Adequate experience in on-site project execution and commissioning activities.

– Comprehensive understanding and practical experience in the application of ISO/IEC standards.
