URGENT VACANCY

BOILERMAKER TRADE TESTED – full time position

CATO RIDGE, KZN

Maintaining the entire Plant effectively, by minimizing downtime and guaranteeing the quality of product. Ensuring that production equipment operates at optimal levels by properly setting it up and conducting both preventative and reactive maintenance.

Build, assemble, service, and fix stationary boilers and related auxiliary equipment.

Align components or plate sections to construct boiler frames, tanks, or vats according to specifications. This work requires the use of hand and power tools, plumb bobs, levels, wedges, dogs, and turnbuckles. Participate in the testing of the assembled vessels.

Oversee the cleaning process of boilers and boiler furnaces.

Examine and repair boiler components, including safety valves, regulators, automatic control systems, water columns, and auxiliary machinery.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Matric (Grade 12 Certificate)
• Trade tested Qualified Boilermaker
• Can operate, implement and maintain mechanical equipment
• Possession of a valid Code 08/EB driver’s license
• 3 – 5 Years’ POST TRADE experience
• Rigging and welding will be required
