As the Accountant your role will entail managing daily accounting operations, preparing management reports, and leading budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis. Our client seeks a highly ethical, analytical, pro-active individual with a results-driven attitude to join their financial team.
📢 ESSENTIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Matric / Grade 12
- BCom (majoring in Accounting and Taxation) / National Dip. or degree in Accounting
- Conceptually understands an ERP system & data warehouse functions
- 5+ Years’ experience in relevant position preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Valid code 08/EB driver’s license
- MS Excel (Intermediate / Advanced)
- Attention to detail and proven stable work history
JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
- Review and authorizing payments
- Administration of Corporate Income Tax and VAT
- Act as primary contact person to SARS for Income Tax issues.
- Administration of the fixed asset register
- Administrate monthly financial statements
- Administration of financial procedures and internal control
- Monthly Financial reports
- Yearend Financial administration.
